Cookies this site sets
None. No page on crypto.sv sets a cookie, either our own or a third party’s. You can check: open your browser’s developer tools on any page and look under Application, Cookies. The list stays empty.
Other storage in your browser
None. The site does not write anything to localStorage, sessionStorage or IndexedDB. Apart from your browser’s normal cache of the page files, nothing from crypto.sv stays behind.
Analytics and tracking
None. There is no analytics service, no advertising or social media pixel, no session recording and no fingerprinting script. That is also why there is no cookie banner: there is nothing to ask your permission for.
What your browser loads
Everything comes from crypto.sv itself: the pages, their scripts and styles, and the two typefaces, Archivo and DM Mono, which are served from this site rather than from Google Fonts. The live price, the on-chain fee estimate and the list of places come from CoinGecko, mempool.space and BTC Map, but our server fetches them, so your browser does not connect to those services while you read this site.
Your location
The “Use my location” button in the place finder asks through your browser’s own permission prompt, and nothing is shared unless you allow it. If you do, your position is used inside your browser to sort places by distance. It is not sent to our server and it is not saved. Tapping the map to pick a spot works the same way without sharing anything.
Hosting
The site is hosted by Vercel. Like any web host, Vercel receives the standard information a browser sends to load a page, such as your IP address and browser type, in order to deliver it. Vercel does not set cookies on this site. See Vercel’s privacy notice.
Links to other sites
Links to BTC Map, Google Maps directions, CoinGecko, mempool.space, Chivo and the news and government sources we cite open those sites, which have their own cookie and privacy policies. Nothing from them loads here until you follow a link.
If this changes
If crypto.sv ever adds analytics or anything else that is not strictly needed, it will stay off until you choose to allow it, this page will name it with what it does and how long it lasts, and you will be able to change your answer here.
